71/2 Habits of Highly Successful Lifelong Learners

Several things ran through my mind as I watched the 71/2 Habits of Highly Successful Lifelong Learners. One thing I learned to to when collaborating with teachers was to Habit 1 – begin with the end in mind. I always ask the question what do you want the students to know or be able to do? This sometimes makes the teacher think about what they are trying to accomplish. The next aha moment came in Habit 3 – view problems as challenges. I am in a new situation this year and it is definitely a challenge! I really have to practice Habit 7 – teach and mentor others. I look forward to implementing some new technology into my new position.
